Three ways to
support home life.
Each Duskfen service addresses a distinct need β from gentle daytime presence to full continuous care. Here's everything you need to choose what fits.
Back to HomeHow We Approach Each Placement
Every Duskfen placement starts the same way: a conversation. Before any aide enters your home, our coordinator spends time with the family to understand the specific situation β the senior's personality and habits, any health considerations to be aware of, language preferences, and what the family is hoping to gain from the arrangement.
This groundwork shapes everything that follows. It guides caregiver matching, informs the daily routine structure, and sets expectations on both sides. We believe the time invested before care begins determines how well the care itself goes.

Caregiver Matching
We select an aide based on fit, not just availability.

Ongoing Review
We stay in contact and adjust when circumstances shift.
Daytime Companionship
A gentle presence during waking hours to help an elderly family member navigate the day comfortably. This service provides support with morning routines, meals, light physical activity, and social interaction. The assigned helper is trained in respectful, patient communication and adapts to the individual's preferences and pace.
Visits can be scheduled for mornings, afternoons, or the full day. Suitable for older adults who are largely self-sufficient but benefit from having someone nearby for reassurance and assistance with tasks that have become more challenging.
- Morning, afternoon, or full-day scheduling
- Assistance with daily routines and meals
- Trained in communication with older adults
- Suitable for largely independent seniors
Errand & Outing Assistance
A practical accompaniment service for seniors who need help getting around outside the home. This covers trips to medical appointments, pharmacy visits, market runs, or simple walks in the park. A trained assistant handles logistics, ensures safe transportation, and provides steady physical support throughout.
Each outing is planned in advance with the family, and any relevant observations are communicated afterward. Ideal for families who want their loved one to remain engaged with the outside world in a safe and supported manner.
- Medical appointments, pharmacy, markets, parks
- Outing pre-planned with family
- Physical support and safe transport
- Post-outing report for family
Round-the-Clock Home Support
A continuous care arrangement for elderly individuals who need someone available at all hours. This service covers personal care, meal preparation, nighttime supervision, medication schedules, and household maintenance. A rotating team of trained aides ensures uninterrupted coverage, with one primary caregiver maintaining relationship continuity.
The family receives regular updates and has input into the care routine. Built for situations where the senior's needs require consistent, dependable attention throughout day and night.
- 24-hour rotating team coverage
- One designated primary caregiver
- Medication scheduling & nighttime supervision
- Regular family updates included
